Week off
March 31st 2005 -
Two bank holidays on a weekend. I love Easter. I’ve had the week off this week and we all went to Cornwall for a few days. Much painting of walls was done. Mum and Dad are thinking of holiday letting Gran’s house so it was “spruce it up” time. They did really well and had finished most of the downstairs by the time we left (aided by us and Aunty Ellie and Uncle David of course).
The weather wasn’t too bad though and we made it to the beach a few times. Gwithian once, Marazion once and a walk to Portreath. We had lunch at the Godolphin arms whilst in Marazion which I would recommend, especially with children. They are very relaxed with he kids, the food is good, reasonably priced and there are great views of St. Michael’s mount. We also picked winkles, something I haven’t done since I was quite small. This was curtailed by Amelia falling into a rock pool and subsequently getting bolshey. I’ll post some pictures when I have a moment.
