May Day Bank Holiday
May 6th 2005 -
The weather was great for the Bank holiday and it was down to Sussex again for the weekend. I got to go flying on all three days although I missed out on the best day (Monday) because I couldn’t decide what the forecast was telling me. Got to Caburn at about 4pm by which time the reportedly buoyant conditions were shutting down, so I got one little bumble about in and a pleasant top to bottom. Sunday was the best day for me, had a couple of 20 minute flights, ridge soaring at Caburn. Have arranged to go on Holiday with Mum and Dad in July. We’re staying in the cottage that Simon always stays in and I booked the Ferry last night so thats definitely on!
