Kathryn’s Mum

K’s Mum died on Tuesday night at about 11:45pm. She’d had cancer for nearly a year and had been very ill towards the end.
Its been a hard time for all of us with Kathryn up and down the country, with and without the children, to help looking after her.
It’s our tenth wedding anniversary today and I’d booked to go to Brussels for the weekend on Eurostar. Obviously this is off and we are spending the day apart. We missed the annual Ascot races trip last week too (this year at Newbury) because Kathryn was away. We’re all looking forward to things returning to normal after what has been a hard couple of years.
The funeral is on Tuesday (9th) at Teeside Crematorium.
