Kites at the Gibbet for my Birthday

May 28th 2006 -

Went up to Combe with the possibility of flying (wind too westerly although there were some die hards up there willing it to veer (back?)) and to fly Andy’s new kite. Had a nice afternoon running around on the hill as these photos will testify. Back to the Green Man in Hurst for tea and a pint or two where I was surprised by a call from Simon who was in Santa Cruz.
